I needed to use a dishcloth in the kitchen the other day. A couple of them were hanging on the line, and yes, I’m the one who’d hanged them. Not very well, just loosely, as long as they had a hold, I was content with that.
The drama was when I needed to use one, and when I picked it up, a couple of the rest fell off. Only those which I’d hanged widely remained on the line they held on firmer and stronger, regardless of the motion that I caused.
Something about being well grounded and founded in our stand in life, in whatever we choose. Having a stable base and establishment has us holding on and continuing to stand even when the winds blow. Something about hanging wide…oh what for dishcloths to teach us all!
