Changing locations, especially rather permanent ones, can be quite a task. Memories of last night’s move, swopping bedrooms, are still very vivid in my mind. Traffic everywhere, furniture, clothes, literature, you name it, and it was there. Out of its place and in everyone’s way! Oh! what a sight, what a tension in the atmosphere, what a crowding of the mind, not to mention the worked up attitudes.
Soon as I got a chance, though I didn’t need to, I took a quick dive into the bathroom. At least there, everything was in order, in its usual place, and the serenity was comforting, brought a sense of recollection to my mind. I was able to re-adjust my attitude and get to clear up my perspective. The two minute rest reenergized me, and when I went back out, I was of better service and assistance, and definitely more personable as well.
I think we all sometimes need what I would call a “bathroom break.”
