This thought does not cease to cross my mind when I’m travelling in matatus (public service vehicles, like small/mini buses). Sometimes there’s music playing, and sometimes it’s enjoyable. Sometimes I nod my head, tap my fingers, or even sing along. It’s beautiful.
As I look out the window while I’m enjoying the music, everything on the outside seems to be moving in tune, in step with the music, even almost dancing to the music in “my” matatu.
How often I have wondered, that it could be the same with our heart. We view our world, our surroundings, circumstance, environment, in light of what is going on inside of our hearts. The “music” in our hearts seems to determine the tune and dance around us. How I pray that my music will be beautiful.
