Sleepless Nights

Oh I think we’ve all had a sleepless night. A night where sleep absolutely evades you and takes a trip to Mars. And you’re awake, counting all the ceiling beams, flashlights form the security guards, how many things need to get done by when,… and sometimes not only about sleep. It’s those afternoons at work when you have motivation and energy for everything but your set work.
I found out that if I used such moments for the energy they came with, I would be very creative and original indeed, and excellent at those ideas done of my own volition and with great passion and enthusiasm. And when that energy boost is over, I have accomplished a great thing well, an additional thing as well, I am proud and confident in myself…and encouraged that I can also do well in my assigned tasks.
Works very well, better than complaining or counting my losses. I’d rather maximize on such times and have parallel achievements than complain that things were just not looking up for me on that day. Something about positive response to negative situations. And just in case you’re wondering, it’s 3.15 a.m., and I’ve been awake from 1.45 a.m. writing.
