Empowering Through Training, Mentoring & Coaching

A strategic plan is certainly no mean feat, as I have learnt from my coach. So the question arises, “how can I make one for my life too?”

The answer lies in God’s word: Habakkuk 2:2 – Write your vision, make it plain upon tablets, that he may run who sees it.

It is basically a writing down of the things you would like to accomplish in life, after of course establishing that it is God’s will for you to do them. Then you put them in such a way that at a moment’s glance, you can see what you want to do and where you want to go.

More importantly, it helps you align your daily, ‘mundane,’ routine tasks and activities with your big picture. It is very energizing and encouraging to know that every little thing you do adds up to your big dream of say owning a home, buying that dream car, or perhaps more importantly, leaving a good legacy.

It is really more to do with the legacy you leave behind than it is to do with the prestige you acquire here on earth. Anybody can do that. But not everybody can leave an indelible mark in someone’s heart.

It is upon you to find out what need your special gift and personality can meet, a need that you feel compelled to do something about, a need that only you know how best and how uniquely it can be met. It’s the need that tugs at your heart. When you meet that need, you make that indelible mark.

Your heart could be tugged by the plight of the street children, of the hungry in a war torn country, of the other-abled children, of the flood-stricken families. Or it could be moved by the great desire to pass on love by making lovely cards for any and every occasion, and spreading the love around, of teaching a Sunday School Class, of writing an inspirational blog….search your heart. Feel for the tug. Then hug the tug. Do something about it.
