This was quite a piercing book, and especially for women. I found it very real when the author talked about the negative self-talk that we, as women, give ourselves quite a lot of the time. Swapping that with the truth from God’s word would surely produce better results.
I found her manner of writing to be easy to read and her narration of experiences, very relatable. The 119 page book brings the reader to really think about his/her life so as to see the source of the inner critic and deal with the root problems by applying the truth in place of the debilitating lies.
I would definitely recommend this book to other women who need to preach to themselves positively so that they can learn to be their own consistent encouragers.
