About Anngladys

Empowering Through Training, Mentoring & Coaching

Anngladys Gichuhi is a wife, mother, and entrepreneur. She is also an author, trainer and mentor.  She is married to Pastor Rupert Gichuhi and they have one daughter, Hetal; and one son; Jason, who is, since January 8, 2015, in heaven.

She most recently worked at FOCUS Kenya as the PR, Communication & Partnerships Officer. She was previously at Pan Africa Christian University as an Assistant Registrar.

She is the founder and manager of the Amazing Girl Mentorship Network website, www.amazing-girl.org. She has been involved in ministry since her teenage years when she went for missions to Uganda and Tanzania. She continued to serve in the church e.g. in the Worship Team, Drama Ministry, Home Church Leadership and Teens Ministry. She has also written 2 books, Becoming An Amazing Girl and 50 Devotions for Mums.

After graduating from Alliance Girls High School, she studied B. Ed German and Library and Information Science at Kenyatta University, and is now pursuing a Masters in Library and Information Science, still in Kenyatta University. She has also studied Counseling Psychology, Peer Education, and Web Design; and is a member of the Enablis Entrepreneurs’ Network.

She was a radio presenter with Kenyatta University’s KUFM 99.9 and with TBN Family Media’s Radio 316. She also taught at State House Girls High School, Nairobi (German, Library Studies), at the Swiss Institute of Foreign Languages, Thika (German) and at the International School of Missions (Counseling, Public Speaking.) She headed the Media Department at African Christian Mission International, and also volunteered at Christian Church International, Thika. She later moved to Kenya Students Christian Fellowship where she served as the Administrative Coordinator before moving on to Communications and Resource Development.

Anngladys is born again and has a passion to minister to young girls. She does this by holding themed parties at her house and having close-knit fun discussions about the issues facing young girls. She also mentors young girls through social media, one on one interaction and also speaks to them in groups.

In her spare time, Anngladys enjoys reading, writing, watching movies, singing, acting, dancing, speaking, teaching, art and poetry, as well as organizing and planning events. She also loves to take road trips, drive, swim and play basketball.
